The Mill Arrives!

I ordered the mill from SyilAmerica on 7/2/2009, and it shipped 7/16/2009, arriving within a week. 

Below are pictures of me and my friend Chuck getting the machine off the truck, uncrated, and setup in the room attached to my shop.  All done in about 3 hours.

First Projects

My first cut was the leaf bowl, which I cut in wood, then aluminum.  I had perfected this project on the Romaxx, so it made a good first test.  The pictures are below, but there are also three Youtube videos:

Then I made a T-Slot Cleaner and a Belt Buckle for Chuck. Nice chips!

I bought a rotary table, and made a bracket to also use it vertically.
